Ron Kraemer, Founder of Rue Technologies, began his career in the telecom industry in the 80’s. As a co-founder of LCI International, he worked to build a nationwide fiber-optic data network that was acquired by Qwest Communications in 1999.

Ron has an extensive background in network design and project management. His passion for home automation technology first took root in the automation of his own homes and grew into what is now Rue Technologies. He spent the 2000's in the building industry working on smart home technologies and energy efficiency including Extreme Home Makeover Star, Ty Pennington’s Zero Net Energy Project.
